Pokémon’s first life simulation game, Pokémon Pokopia, will release on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, 2026. Playing as a Ditto that has transformed to look like a human, you can collect wood, rocks, and other crafting materials to create a cozy home. Ditto can learn moves from other Pokémon and utilize those moves to help build your very own Pokémon paradise. For example, Ditto can use Bulbasaur’s Leafage to add greenery to the landscape or Squirtle’s Water Gun to hydrate plants. By creating a lush, welcoming environment, more Pokémon will visit.

is this the best pokemon spin-off out there? and there's not even any fighting!
pokopia takes everything good from a lifesim sandbox like acnh, and makes it even better.
the gameplay mechanics are damn near perfect. almost anything has been thought of to make sure the player can do anything they want.
i love games that make an effort into letting you express your creativity without having to respect a huge set of subjective rules.
the game mechanics blend perfectly into the story. if you don't wanna think too much about it or are scared to make something ugly, you can follow the subtle guides scattered across the map. but if you wanna move away from the game's suggestions, you can do it as well!
at many points in the game, you'll scream to yourself "THERE'S MORE??" and yet you'll never want the story to end.
the customisations are endless and i'm looking forward into exploring them on the post-game.
this game makes me wish we have another 2020 lockdown to have an excuse to play it non-stop like i did with acnh.
Really cute and fun, love the vibes. Post apocalypse world with no humans? Perfect for me
