Noita is a very good sandbox, but I am less sure about the game as a whole.
The "every pixel is simulated" gimmick is cool and well executed. It does affect gameplay and is just as dangerous as the enemies.
The wand/spell system is also extremely cool. Very deep, just like the environment.
However, the game has a major downside. It's really hard. I don't really feel like I’m getting better while I'm playing it. When I progress further than usual, it's not because I got better at the game or upgraded my character or anything. I just got lucky.
For some players that's probably fine, but it feels like I don’t have a path to getting improving.
It's too difficult with too few rewards.
