I wanted to like this game. I really did. The atmosphere is gorgeous. It really nails down the creepy vibe, and the environmental storytelling is top-notch. The gameplay however leaves something to be desired. The puzzles were fine, but when it came to the dog chases, I feel like I was being punished for choosing the wrong option, which is not something I expected from puzzle games. It also relied on getting timing right, which has caused me to DNF Astral Chain in the past (on the final boss battle, no less). I DNF'ed this game on the second dog chase. I also have already sort of seen the ending, and I got this game on sale, so I'm not too upset about it being a game I did not like
I'm sure other people love this game. I did not.
