Enjoying Astro's Playroom?
Astro's Playroom took me 6 hours of playtime to get all of its trophies, including its free updates. And what a wonderful 6 hours it was. The only seriously difficult parts were the final boss (why no checkpoint after the first phase?) and the speedrun challenges. ...And I had to look up a guide for the special characters.
But it's a love letter to PlayStation history that absolutely oozes charm, and even as someone who didn't grow up with these consoles (I was a Nintendo kid) it makes me want to play all the games it's referencing. This is one of the best controller demos of all time, and it's free! Even as a fan of Nintendo Land, I gotta say this is only second to Wii Sports Resort, which is a high ass bar. It was the only PS5 launch title that made me go 'Oh shit! I GOTTA get me one of these!'
